Barred tee

BARRED TEE is a butt weld forged fitting with integral bars used in pigging lines in order to prevent the passing through branch pipe of the pig cleaner. Bars are made integral in order to avoid heat affected zone near crotch , the most stressed zone. On customer’s request bars can’t be integral or butt welded on tee.
